Hey c_g_f : 1. How did you secure the HD sideways like that. I like it. 2. "I even thought about cutting a 120mm hole where the psu sits so I can replace the current psu for a more powerfull psu that exhaust the air from the main chamber of the case. Anyone tried that, or it is just too crazy?" I'm ...

I'm planning a new I7 build in this case as well. So in your opinion what is the best power supply replacement for the stock PS. The signature Series from Antec seems too long to also fit the DVD ROM and a HD in the upper case area. Is there another power supply that you guys can think of which is o...

3rd drive
Has anybody been able to fit a third HD in the 3.5 external cage in the NSK3480?
Also is it possible to install a power supply with 120 mm fan pointing upwards, do you guys see any issues with that?
I also have holes made in mine to have the cables hidden behind the MB tray.
Thanks, in advance.

follow up
Well I got the new Thermaright Heatsink in and temps are looking much better. The construction of this heatsink feels so much more robust than the Xigmatek and also the mounting system is great. This build is now done, thanks to Steve and others for inspiration.

Prime95 small FFTs all cores loaded. The heatpipes are not warm at all, at the base. I get same readings in Core temp and Speedfan, 69-72 full load. All fans running at 800 RPM and Power supply has a 80 mm Noctua with ULNA adapter. I'll let you know what temps Thermalright will yield once I get it. ...

Cool thanks for your reply. I will be installing the new cooler when it comes in, hopefully my temps will be better. I did try to re-seat the Xigmatek but no change. The reason I asked you about the fan install after MB is in the case is because I may want to try a couple of different fans and it's ...

Steve, I have finished a build in this case and I currently have the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 cooling an overclocked Q9550 but my temps are too high. I also have a 120 fan in the front bottom (cutout mod as yours). I have just ordered the Thermalright HR-01 Plus and I have one question for you. Do you thi...

Noctua LNA adapter on Scythes
You guys think it's ok to use the Noctua LNA or ULNA adapters on other fans like S-Flex? It seems to work and the (resistor or zener diode or not sure what's in there) does not get hot.
Thanks.
Thanks.

NSK3480 video help
Hi all, I have an Antec NSK3480 and I need both HDs installed. I also have the ASUS P5Q-EM MB with Q9550 and Xigmatek rifle cooler. I am having a really hard time finding what video card to use. I only need one to run dual monitors not for gaming but also want a fairly new card. Seems the only optio...

Need Power check
Hi team, I have a question regarding power. This is my system:
Q9550 overclocked to3.4 G
Asus P5Q-EM mAtx board
Corsair 8 Gig DDR2
Asus HD4850 Video
3 HDs (650G *3)
2 120 mm fans
I have a NSK3480 mATX box would the EA380 watts that comes with this case be enough for this?
Thanks.
