Well, that mobo isn't the most power friendly mobo there is, I'd say. at least 6 phases it looks like, LEDs both left and right, lots of gadgets and extra gizmos. I've not found any review of that mobo, but here is a review of another 680i SLI mobo with a not so different setup (7900GT 25w idle, bu...

It is more than just the energy made. I shan't say I am not wrong here, but computers also account for a lot of waste in the production process. I think I heard on the radio an UN report said one desktop computer accounted for 1 tonne of waste. Yet I heard another saying 500kg. Either way, if you wa...

Why not go for Corsair HX620W. http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=327672 or get Seasonic M12 700W which is even cheaper then Corsair i mentioned above, and it will have spare 300W if you don't like running PSU near it's max output. http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=323037 I'm not trying to be ...

I have a Lian Li case (which is noisy enough BTW). Here I have a 120mm fan blowing at my PCI-exensions, and my power supply is mounted so that it will get fresh air from the top of the case in an opening. Currently I have a 500W from Mist, which is supposed to be a good quality PSU. You are absolute...

Silent and good PSU for permanent 500W load?
I have ordered a 9800GX2 to run Folding@home as well as a quadcore. This would add up a constant 500W load for the GPU and CPU alone. I am also going to sleep in this room. I've looked a bit on reviews, but I still can't decide. I mean the Seasonic M12D 850 W was great but it is not for sale in Norw...
