So I went ahead and bought the V4 asus barebones. Mostly put together now and very quiet ( love the enermax modu82+!) :D I want to get a bit more airflow in the chassis to help with the passive gpu cooler; there's a grill at the front for an 80mm fan but I want to fit a 92mm one (annoyingly, I assum...

the v4 looks bigger so id say its probably easier to silence than a v3. it is; slightly narrower actually but other dimensions are larger. However it has a side vent which the T3 doesn't - great for cooling, what about noise? :? any pics of the inside of the v4? none that I can find, only unhelpful...

Silencing Asus barebones

I know it can be done to the T3 series , because of the Anitec SilenT3 ; if I lived in Canada I would just buy one of those. But I'm going to have to do it myself, and really I'd prefer the V4 series ; not only is that one of the best looking cases I've seen IMO, it seems like it uses a standard mAT...
