@Seb Thank you for your suggestion! I will take e7200, seeing as it's got good reviews and is very affordable (not much difference between price of e5200). You're right, that is a huge difference in gpu power consumption. I guess I'm getting a 4670. Then I'll try that rv740 on a subsequent upgrade. ...

Is this budget gaming rig efficient enough?

I'm building a gaming rig on a budget. I'm aiming for each component to be as efficient as possible, i.e. no superfluous system resource.
