Re: Need opinion on the next 1.5TB "green" drive
I haven't been visiting forums lately. I need to buy two "green" drives, one for OS and one for network storage. Performance is a secondary concern, it's more of a question of reliability. I've used WD10EACS 00D6B0 with great results in the past, not a single problem. However, as I was looking at c...

Hi John, It looks like the Toxic is an overclocked Vapor-X. I could be wrong, but they look exactly the same. I wonder if the Vapor would be quieter, maybe it runs the fan slower since it isn't overclocked. I found a review that showed the newer Sapphire 5850s to be quite a bit lower dbl than the re...

Modu82+ in Zalman HD160 plus case, question
Hi Guys, I originally posted this in the wrong forum. I am going to change the question a bit though. I am building an HTPC with a Zalman HD160 plus case and a Modu82+ PSU. The opening on the HD160 plus to pull air from outside is a little smaller than the intake fan on the PSU. The opening was desi...

Oops, can a mod move this to the correct forum? I'm going to use a Radeon HD 4870 1GB GPU and a AMD Phenom II X4 810 2.6GHz processor. I'm installing 2 92mm fans on the left side of the case. One blowing fresh air on the GPU, one blowing fresh air on the HDDs. The back of the case has 2 80mm fans ex...

Should PSu be used for exhaust in HTPC?
Hi Guys, New to the forum, I've been reading reviews on here though. I am building a HTPC with a Zalman HD160 plus case and and Modu82+. Should I mount the PSU to pull from outside the case or inside? The opening to pull air from outside is a little smaller than the intake fan on the PSU. I know thi...
