Done. I mounted the ZEN 120 so the fan blows the warm air to the rear exhaust. I get about 34 deg. C on Q-Fan mode (PWM) with my E6420 @ 3.0 Ghz. And full load at maximulm 50 deg. C. Pretty good.
Thanks

Sorry for digging out such an old topic ,but i just got myself one of these and i was thinkink what's the best mounting position for it? I have an Antec P183. Should i mount it so the CPU fan blows the air through the top exhaust or rotated 90 deg. so it blows warm air out through the back exhaust? ...

I don't think that the absence of the bundled intake tricool fan(s) is a big problem. Tri-cool's are not that good ,too noisy for what they offer. I'm droping the Nexus/Noctua idea that i had earlier ,and i'm getting 1000rpm NoiseBlockers BlackSilent XL1s for my entire case. Rated at 13dbs ,they are...

I woldn't say a lot ,but of course it helps. But i will buy some realy silent fans. What sould it be? Nexus or Noctua? Noctua are overpriced here in Romania ,but Nexus are reasonably priced. But if Noctua is better ,i'll try to get 2 of those. The Scythe Gentle Typhoons have a strange low frequency ...

Well ,I had to improvise. I made a quick scheme in paint cose i tryed to take a photo but it's not visible. Basicly ,the fan is mounted with the 2 screws and "rests" on the metal clips by presure ,and between the fan and clip i mounted a silicone pad on each side. http://i589.photobucket.com/albums/...

I have mounted the 2 antec tricools with silicone rubber grommets (from the hdd cage) and I can say that the noise has been lowered and I can use the top exhaust fan on low speed settings without any high noise. And about that filter ,i don't think that-s a good idea to mount a dust filter in front ...

Yes MikeC ,but set on the lowest speed ,it's not that nasty ,trust me. The top Tri-cool makes much more noise than the stock cooler. The airflow is realy good in the case ,i have an E6420 @ 3.0Ghz and it's at 38 deg. C in idle and doesnt go over 57 in load with the stock cooler. I'll get a new CPU c...

Hi ,I'm new here and found the forums by searching on reviews for the P183. I just bought the case ,it arived today and mounted the system in. I thought someone wanted some user opinions and live pics of the P183. I come from A Plus teritory (actualy X Clio 2 ,the one with the 25cm fan) so noise was...
