Typo, you've doubled up on "Beautifully machined 2-piece aluminum disc feet" in the final thoughts page which effect how many thumbs ups there are

Re: Owners of: GV-R485MC-1GI and GV-N98TSL-1GI
Can the card reliably output to two digital monitors (22" or 24") at their native resolutions (1680x1050 or 1920x1200). Yes But what are you using the card for? Gaming? or just office type work? If the latter you don't need such cards as lower end cards such as the 4350/4550 etc would be more than ...

HIS flipped egg cooler
http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-489.shtml
HIS have a 5770 with a changed pcb making the gpu further out and the egg cooler flipped around.
What are the chances an accelero s1 would fit straight onto that without modifications?

Is this possible? wireless and wired networks at once
Hi, I was thinking of taking out the hdds from my computer and putting them in a server and getting a ssd for my desktop to quieten it down a little as currently I reckon the Samsung f1s (suspended in antec solo) are the loudest components in my computer Due to my dad manually capping my download sp...

Which fan to swap into S12?
Hi, my computer has got to the point where the S12 is now the loudest component and its starting to bug me so I've decided its fan swap time. I've seen on some threads on here were people have replaced their fan with a nexus but I'm not sure if a nexus would be able to cope during summer when the am...

thermalright s-type clip in Australia?
anyone know if the thermalright s-type clip is available in Australia? I've been having trouble finding a shop who has one in stock, in fact most of the local shops I've rung didn't even know what I was talking about. Anyone know if it can be found in stock anywhere in OZ? if not is there a US or ot...

Cheers for the advice guys, dont really have enough money laying around to be swapping the PSU or heatsink, so I'm just gonna turn down the fans and see how it goes. I'm not concerned too much about the PSU taking in heat from the cpu, but I didnt want it taking in so much heat as to make its fan sp...

Using a quiet 3.5' 5400RPM HDD like WD Green, Samsung F2 EcoGreen, or Hitachi P7K500 wouldn't be louder than sticking with a quiet 5400RPM 2.5' HDD like WD Scorpio Blue. Besides, 3.5' HDD tends to outperform 2.5' counterpart and cost a lot less compared to 2.5' equivalent. I highly suggest 5400RPM ...

HR-01+ rotate or leave horizontal?
Hi guys, just after some advice with my HR-01+. I recently put together a new system with this heatsink and being am2+ its orientated horizontally so the wide side is facing up. i wanted to know whether I'd be better of trying to change it so it faces the rear exhaust fan. Currently I've got a nexus...

You need to figure out what performance you really need by yourself. Were I you, I'd purchase a 780G board with Phenom II 710 combo anyway. As for PSUs, CX400/VX450/HX450 all based on Seasonic S12 II design. Their noise volume, characteristics are more or less the same at idle. So it depends on you...

Which of the PSU's would be the best bang for buck silence wise for my build, assuming a power draw of 180w? If I were to add a discrete graphics card later on, say 4770, how would the PSU recomendation change? I would not forget Nexus Value 430 as a possible PSU assuming it easily available for af...

It's probably just me but I'd avoid any of the 65nm Phenoms, including the ones that are deceptively named Athlon X2 7xxx. They generate a lot more heat and use more power than a higher-clocked "real" 65nm Athlon at about the same performance and price level. You don't need much CPU to do 1080p wit...
