Megahalems with 2 S-Flex "G" fans in push/pull

This is a major improvement over my previous temps. Thank you Innovation Cooling and Mike Chin for letting me have a sample of ICD7.

Just got my free sample of ICD7 in the mail today. I'll probably test this as soon as I can find a new heatsink and a fan to go with it. If I put this on my Zalman, it won't be much of an improvement since the 9700 doesn't seem to cool well on an i7 920 C0 stepping.

Interesting way of putting 3 fans in the IFX-14. How did you get the fans sleeved into one bundle and does it run on one Molex connector?

My recommendation - get a great tower heatsink (like Megahelms) and use 2 low-RPM fans in push-pull configuration. You may use ducts and other goodies that will help with decreasing temperature. I'll agree to test ICD7. My i7 920 puts out too much heat for my Zalman heatsink can handle. 52*C during idle and 65*C when playing Team Fortress 2 at 2.8GHz. The paste I'm currently using is the Zalman ZM-STG1.
