Deleting myspace picture link?
I deleted a picture from myspace, however, the link to that picture is still working and people can see it and link to it. I have some hello kitty pink underwear photos of me which I would like to delete. How will I do this?

Re: Need a very heavy case for less vibration
I also do this for better audio quality, with 100 lbs of mass on top the music sounded very calm with more micro details. Mass on top of what affects music coming from where??? Mass on top of transport affects music coming out from speakers. With a passive case with no moving parts I hear the same ...

That "crazy smoothness" in your music doesn't make sense. You might just be used to noisy laptop sound outputs. If you want to get rid of that, buy yourself a cheap external DAC/amp or sound-card (USB or s/pdif / optical). With regards to Ubuntu being lower wattage and sounding better: that makes n...

Lowest wattage monitor
I want a monitor which draws as little watts as possible. I will plug it into my Asrock nettop ion 330. I will use the monitor to playback music only.

Great for audio!
Is the nettop useful for something else I haven't thought about? Are there mini displays for $100 or so? I could put in closet... I underclocked the nettop to the lowest voltages and disabled everything I could in BIOS. I hear crazy smoothness in my music now! I also compared Winxp + Foobar vs Ubun...

Should I get ASRock NetTop ION 330 instead of laptop? I can buy it from store in 10 hours when it opens. I will purchase Windows 7 64bit at the same time and install into it. It is ok? Ok, I bought it but 2560x1600 doesn't work because HDMI to DVI connection doesn't support it. I can only get 1280x...

Grab the part number off the fan and start Googling after contacting ASUS for the part? I would lose shipping cost from sending in the damaged fan to them? Wouldn't it be better to buy a quieter fan instead? You could also try lubricating the fan. I have JO Premium Personal Lubricant in hand, I wil...

Lowest wattage laptop with DVI output to 2560x1600 display?
I want to replace my Asus X50SL into something lower wattage. I only need enough power to display a native 2560x1600 image on my 2560x1600 display, playback music, and write text into notepad. Which laptop should I get for this purpose?

Fan inside laptop got very noisy
I have had Asus X50SL for a year. Suddenly it was very noisy when I turned it on. I thought something was stuck inside the fan so I removed it and cleaned it, it didn't fix the problem. I think the fan is warped because when I press against the fan casing the sound changes.

Re: Need a very heavy case for less vibration
I'm confused. Someone said that adding more mass lowers the resonant frequency?b_rubenstein wrote: The case can't transform/convert frequencies of a source. All mechanical systems are basically low-pass filters.

Need a very heavy case for less vibration
I need a case that weighs a lot, then those high frequency vibrations transform into low frequency vibrations which are less audible, correct? Currently I have stacked up a lot of stuff on top of the casing, but it doesn't look pretty. I also do this for better audio quality, with 100 lbs of mass on...

set your monitor brightness to 100%, and then use software to reduce the brightness sent to your monitor from your graphics card. Typically what you hear is the voltage regulator inside the monitor changing the voltage to reduce your brightness. If you leave it at 100% brightness on the monitor it ...
