In my experience the v.3 cooler is a great product. In a low airflow case it does make an impact on the case temperature compared to the passive Zalman, which I previously used in the system. I would say somewhere around 3-5 degrees improvement. I run it on a ATI9700, that is overclocked, on the low...

Slight buzz
I just bought a 4090, unfortunately it gives off a slight electrical buzz which is not loud but definately both more irritating and louder than the 120mm fan. :( I read somewhere else in the forum that the buzz could be unit dependant? Did I just get unlucky or is this a common problem? What gets me...

 Cheap! How can you say that? How much does it cost where you live? It is horribly expensive here in Sweden, in fact so expensive that I've ruled it out for use in my PC, even though it seems to work just fine. :( I don't know where you draw the line for expensive... but here are a couple of...

Now from theory to practice. ;-) I bought a PSU muffler to test it and to try avoid breaking the PSU open to replace the fans and thus the warranty. All of the above posts may still be true, if you have an already quiet PSU. The one I have been testing it on is an Antec TruePower. The sound differen...

It seems like its real random, some Papst 4412 click and others don't. I have two of them, one clicks quite badly and the other runs smooth. The clicking one is somewhat older but haven't been run all that much more. No experience with any other 120mm fans except for the Antec stock fan that came wi...

Yes, I have lined the case with bitumen, works to some extent for the vibration. Not entirely when all my drives spin up (4 of them incl. WD, IBM, Maxtor and Seagate), even with them in the built in grommets of the SLK3700 case, they can cause some irritating vibration in the lined case. It does go ...

If silence is the top priority I would also go for the single drive setup. If performance is desired then I would go with the 2 drive setup. RAID or non RAID two drives is faster. 2 heads to read and write your swap & temp files. Its a huge difference. I've tried single drive, RAID 0 and two drives ...

I recently bought this cooler, Spire FalconRock II, after reading that review. When first installed it performed 10°C better than my old ThermalTake Volcano 9 (manually turned down to low) when idle and 5°C better at load. I though great cooler! This was however in an open case. Now in a closed case...

Haven't experienced any noticeable clicking from the 120mm Pabst 4412FGL undervolted, or is it outgunned by the TruePower PSU fan? Which is the preferred low noise/non whining 80mm ~25cfm fan? The Pabst 19dB, Panaflo others? Since I would like that much airflow from this particular fan (CPU) undervo...
