Scythe Setsugen on the HD5xxx

I havent found a discussion about this videocard cooler. It looks as though this is a great cooler, without the VRM overheating problem, like on the MK-13 and T-Rad2. Anyone tried this already? This review is positive: http://ht4u.net/reviews/2009/scythe_setsugen_meets_radeon_hd5800/index12.php It c...

Yeah im thinking the vapor-x cooling will be good enough. I think its a good middle way between not having to mod the vid card (and possible breaking it) and acoustics.

On a side note, what is the best, most quiet solution besides buying a vapor-x? I read about the Accelero S1 and a 120mm fan? Im looking for a good, quiet cooler at idle s...

The PWM Slipstream fan on the Mugen-2, controllable?

I was wondering. How is the PWM Slipstream controlled on the Mugen-2? Is it temperature controlled, so if it gets hotter it spins up faster. Or is it manually controllable, so putting it to a fixed, say, 800 rpm? And if so, is it possible to hardwire a certain rpm to the fan. So that i wont be putti...

Radeon HD5870 Vapor-X

Anybody got this beast? I ask here because you guys know what a man wants when it comes to noise :)! What about the idle noise? Is it audible? Ill be putting it in a Cosmos 1000 case, so thats pretty dampened. Ive got 3 800 rpm GT's running and one 1150 (but this one is airborn, making it sound the ...
