Thank you very much, that is great info.
It surely helps me and I hope it will help other people who look for info on this PSU.

SFX-L PSU that does not officially exist :)
Hi guys, please help me with the following mistery: I have recently bought an MS-Tech itx case from Germany. I was only interested in the case, not its PSU, since I wanted to use it with an internal DC board. By the way, this is what it turned into: http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php...

Re: Silent server inside an MS-Tech CI-100 mini-itx case
Yes, the HDD is mounted on rubber washers. You can see one close to the case, in a picture with the HDD. The vibration is almost completely gone. But I have to put my hand on the case in order to feel a very slight vibration, when the HDD is not asleep. Let's just say it's so small that I don't care...

I did some power measurements:
11.5W idle (hdd sleep)
14-16W idle (hdd not sleeping)
19-23W hdd and ssd activity (copying stuff)
25W peak (hdd start)
11.5W idle (hdd sleep)
14-16W idle (hdd not sleeping)

Silent server inside an MS-Tech CI-100 mini-itx case
Components: Case: MS-Tech CI-100 http://www.ms-tech.de/eng/index.php/product/detail/pdcid/79/pdid/338 The presentation is not accurate, it's better to read the PDF datasheet. For more pictures, check out the Spire Powercube 502 - it's the exact same case, with a different front side design. http://w...

Re: Modified Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Mini-ITX
After a few days of gaming (Sniper Elite V2, Battlefield 3, Metro 2033, Skyrim), I can draw these conclusions: - It is only at night that the computer can be heard (and that might actually be the PSU fan or some vibration, not too sure about it), no matter if it's idle or under stress; during daytim...

I've managed to finish the build (at least until I get other ideas :) - suggestions are welcomed, as well). Re: Modified Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Mini-ITX
I was hoping to finish it tonight (it's past 4 a.m. here), but I've spent a lot of time rethinking and redoing the wire management and thinking about solutions for installing and connecting the 2 Scythe fans to the video card fan controller. First of all, here are the temps with the fanless video ca...

Re: Modified Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Mini-ITX
So.... Updates on the silent front: Late last night, about 2 a.m., no noise in the house, no noise outside... Perfect setting for tuning the fans... First of all, I decided the idle noise of the video card, as little as it was, must be dealt with. Problem: it won't go under 40%, see GPUZ above, in s...

Gotta love the red button. Can't stop thinking about the possibilities: - a plastic cover for the button, plus some message like: Don't push the RED BUTTON!!! Maybe a picture of Dee-Dee trying to push it... or - a funny drawing with the red button being the nose of a drunken dwarf, or something... e...

Re: Modified Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Mini-ITX
Nice build. Could you post pics with panels closed up? I will do it tonight when I'll get home. It does look just like the stock configuration, though... By the way, the temps for both idle and load were obtained with the panels closed up, if that's what you were thinking about. I wonder about the ...

Modified Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Mini-ITX
Hello everybody. I have decided to modify this case because: - it is relatively small, about the size of Sugo SG07/08; - it looks nice (IMHO); - it is REALLY REALLY cheap, like 4 times cheaper than the Silverstones (about half the price after buying a psu); - unlike the SUGOs, I can choose a modular...

Re: Antec ISK 300-65 (heavily modded) gaming PC
I've already tried all options besides Manual (though the program wouldn't let me select some); I've cruised the BIOS in search of anything related to my problem, but there seems to be nothing of any relevance; I've tried both fan headers on the motherboard (referred to as SYS and AUX in SpeedFan), ...

Re: Antec ISK 300-65 (heavily modded) gaming PC
Last night was the first time I've tried to use speedfan to control the speed of the fans, not just report stuff. If I am not mistaking, I had to modify the PWMs to manual and set them to remember. Actually, except for the CPU fan, all others were already set to manual. I've also defined the range o...

Re: Antec ISK 300-65 (heavily modded) gaming PC
Thank you for your suggestion. Actually, two of the three fans (the Recoms) have three wires, only the Mini Kaze is a two-wires fan. Unfortunately, after installing and configuring speedfan, i discovered that my motherboard doesn't seem to be capable of changing the fan speeds, for any of them. The ...

Re: Antec ISK 300-65 (heavily modded) gaming PC
Indeed, building it was fun and challenging, and the result is a very practical "mobile" PC, since it's not that much bigger than a laptop, but much more powerfull (at the same price range, of course). The only thing left to do (I wish I knew how to do it) is to make the video card control the speed...

Antec ISK 300-65 (heavily modded) gaming PC
Hello. I've already written about (the beginning of) this project in a very old thread in the "silent hardware -> cases and damping" section. Since then, I've modified considerably both the case and the hardware used, so I decided to "show it off" here. So, here it is (some info from the old thread ...

Get a multimeter and get some reliable readings, the monitoring programs aren't giving you any real numbers. If you have a good reading at the brick but not at a molex when you stress the system, then it's the wiring. Well, I followed your advice, and I got some very interesting results. First of a...

I am blaming the video card because: - at idle, the software utility measures about 11.7 - 11.9 V - with CPU stressed (Stability Test, for example), the value drops very little. - when I stress the video card (Furmark or Ati tool), the 12V value drops first to around 10.8 - 10.9V, and after a few mi...

The problem in your case is most likely a broken adapter. As I was saying, I agree with this conclusion. But, did it brake because I was unlucky and got a faulty one, or ANY Dell DA-1 (or similar) adapter would die the same death under this load? I have two PicoPSU setups (one with a Dell DA-2 and ...

Yeah... I thought so... The question is: Can we really use the PicoPSU for such loads? I mean, my Dell power adapter is by no means cheap, or brand-less, and at the same time it's not even used at maximum (I am sure the load power consumption does not reach 150W for my setup). If such a power adapte...

Software utility and BIOS Reading. I don't think that it's the motherboard, because right now, to be able to play games, I have the computer powered from a very cheap 400W PSU (the case plus the PSU are the cheapest one can find in Romania, under 20$ - actually, I bought them for parts, for the mod ...

Vesa-mounting "trick"
There is no trick actually... Here is what I've done: You need to go to some hardware store and buy the following: - 4 Vesa-style screws...
