I have the Powercolor 5870 with the aftermarket cooler, and after downloading MSI Afterburner (free, and is basically RivaTuner with better fan control) I can set my fan to run at 10% for a low, while still ramping up while under load. I'd be surprised if Afterburner wouldn't work for any 5870. At 1...
