Aha - I've found the problem. It looks like the PSU took out the graphics card (or vice versa I guess?) as I've tried the 4550 in my work PC and there's no output.

No, I only have one desktop PC and the old PSU died. I know the 4550 only draws 15W of power as when I originally installed it the overall consumption rose from 45W to 60W.

OK - I've put the jumpers back on the mobo and the IGP now works. I can't understand why the PCI express x 16 card isn't working though.

I've finally tested the PCI-Express x 16 4550 card again and it doesn't work. I wonder if the PSU took out the 4550 when it died?

The monitor (TV) was working fine before the PSU died. Actually something I've just noticed is when I unplug the DVI cable from the PC the TV says "Check signal cable". When I plug it in it says "No signal".

I'm confident both the monitor and cable are 100%.

Help! PicoPSU 105-XT, no graphics output from 4550

Hello - My old PSU just failed and I've replaced it with a PicoPSU 150-XT. Other components: MB: AOpen i945Gmm-HL Video: Radeon 4550 The system boots fine (I can connect via RDP), but there is zero output from DVI port on the 4550 at any time. I've also tried the IGP, but there is no output from thi...

I've had my ST30NF running 24/7 for a little over four years and it's just died. The power LED has turned red. I've just bought a picopsu 150-xt to replace it in the hope that the idle power will drop from 60W to the low/mid 50s.

I've sent silverstone an email to see if can be repaired...

Thanks for your replies. I've ordered this PSU with a FSP 150W adaptor. For now this will replace the faulty Silverstone ST30NF in my existing HTPC. This was running at 60W on idle so it'll be interesting to see I there are any power savings.

The i5 upgrade should happen next month...

PicoPSU 150-XT: Concerns running i5 660

Hello, My HTPC's PSU has just failed after four years' service, so I'm going to upgrade it and get a new PSU. This is what I have planned: PSU: PicoPSU 150-XT with 150W FSB brick MB: MSI H57M-ED65 (inspired by Tom's Hardware) CPU: Intel i5 660 GPU: Onboard Storage: 2 x SSD and a 1TB WD green HD Blu-...

I'm in a similar situation where I'm considering an i5 660 (TDP = 73W which is the same as the i3 you mention) and am hoping to use the PicoPSU 150-xt. My concern is that the 150-xt manual says it only supports CPUs with a TDP of up to 65W. Is this going to be a problem for the PSU when the CPU is a...
