PicoPSU 150w power brick help
I tried mod a dell-da2 and it doesn't work. Luckily, I found a power adapter for my Shuttle Zen with 6-pin in two rows. I been plugging it straight into the picopsu and it works. But, it seem like there's not enough power. It is 180w - 12v and 15a but it can't power up an E8400. I've heard other pic...

Re: small, quiet mini-ITX gaming build
I like your logic of using huge heatsinks in small systems. But, how are you able to find the right heatsink for your use? I'm getting an Raidmax ITX case, dimensions 9L 11W 4H. You don't care about USB 3.0 at all for the future? I want to get a MSI H61M-P23 (B3) Or AsRock MB Please help me get cpu ...

Re: small, quiet mini-ITX gaming build
I wish I found this before I built my machine, because I had the same problems as you did and same goal. I wanted eyefinity + gaming + htpc. I finally did it, but it took so long to dig up informations and buy those parts. My machine: Intel E5200 Biostar G41-M7 MATX mb 2gb G.Skills Ram x 1 160gb 2.5...

I'm can get into the bios and play with different settings but I leave the voltage section alone. So I'm not sure what is the proper reading. My brother said something about if I split the 12v wire to three parts for each of the dell-da-2 holes (pins), then it would be 12 x 3 = 36 watts. I took the ...

Thanks for the pics strid. I thought it was a virus because it restarted on its own and i wasn't able to go into bios for awhile. The case is an Evercase found here. I'm using stock cooler because I wanted to see that it works with the picopsu, or else this project is for nothing. This is how I conn...

150 XT + Dell DA-2
I had successfully mate the Dell-DA-2 to power up my picopsu 150w. But it only worked for a couple of days. A week ago, I was playing some youtube videos and the computer restarted on its own. The reading on the cpu temp was climbing to 80c and the system temp was only 30c. I feared it was a virus s...

hi, I'm really sorry to bring up an old topic but I tried to talk to engineer and my brother who knows how to solder and no one knows what I'm trying to do. I'm going to try the method like Atheara's post but I took some of his recommendations and ordered the mini-jr female-female. It been 3yrs for ...

sorry, i have the pw-200-v. I made sure i ordered this one after reading this so that we have the same pcb holes and etc. I see, so you cut the black and white cable and connect the white to the blue cables and the black to the black cables. That's 6 cables. The other two you just left it alone? Tha...

I understand the 12v wire and the ground wire. But what did you do with the ATX 24pin's PIN 4(5V) and PIN 16(PS/ON) ? And there are 4 PCB holes on the pw-200. The 12v blue goes through one, black ground goes through one. What about the other two, the ground and the 5v ? I wish I knew this sooner tha...

hi, I'm sorry but i'm slowly getting the guide you provided. To explain what I understand so far: I need cut the wires from a dead 24 atx psu. Take three wires and combine them together then solder it to the 12v hole in the pw-200 that's empty. Repeat with three more wires and solder them to the gro...

And it only has two wires, where did those blue and black wires come from? I haven't receive my dell a...

Im building a sff m-itx pc that i can take around with me. I think that is the best low bracket video card I can get. I was wondering if that will play starcraft 2 when it comes out. At least on 1024 resolution?

hi. I'm trying to build a mini itx system and attach it to my monitor. I'm trying to run a system with pci-express and mount. But, every case I come upon either has mount and no pci-express or pci-express and no mounts. What trick did you use to mount your antec isk300 to the lcd tv like that? Also,...
