dual GT AP-15's vs single GT AP-29
I was thinking of buying a couple of GT AP-15's for my Kuhler 620 rad, but now that I have bought a fan controller, I was wondering which was the better buy. I'm sure the low RPM dual fans will run quieter at max speed than a single high RPM fan, but will a single AP-29 cool the rad more? I can alwa...

Re: Enermax T.B.Silence UCTB12 vs Scythe Slipstream 800
finally found a comparison between the two http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/2614/16/393-8092120140mm-case-fans-reviewed-test-results-120-mm---more-silent What is your assessment of the tests? yesterday i bought a Scythe 6-channel fan controller. i tested by turning all the fans off except the ones o...

Re: Enermax T.B.Silence UCTB12 vs Scythe Slipstream 800
thank you for the reply. right now i have two on mounted on the front hard drive bay (no hard drives installed btw), which use plastic brackets (i wonder if this is enough to prevent the adverse effects). i was wondering whether to replace all the 4 fans (2x Enermax T.B.Silence and 2x Scythe KAMA FL...

Enermax T.B.Silence UCTB12 vs Scythe Slipstream 800
Hi, Just wondering if upgrading my case fans from T.B. Silence to Slipstreams (both 120mm and will be run at around 650RPM mark) will give me better airflow at the same noise. I haven't been able to find any such comparison. If someone has experience with both of these fans, please care to share. Th...

Re: Can someone recommend me fans for this setup (Raven RV03
thanks for the reply. that was quite informative. i managed to drop the two 1300RPM KAMA FLOW 2 fans to around 800RPM using motherboard fan headers and they got near silent. maybe the CFM rating at those speeds is not as high as slipstream 800's but i will see what the temps would be with the new sp...

Re: Can someone recommend me fans for this setup (Raven RV03
Should I buy 1200 or 1600 slipstreams then use a fan controller, or should I buy the 800 ones out of the box? You have way too many fans. Get the 800s and consider that you might need to reduce their speed even further. Consider this to control fan speed: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/inde...

Can someone recommend me fans for this setup (Raven RV03)?
I have a Silverstone RV03 case. I want to make my PC quiet while using fans in all the possible mounting holes. I know, more fans = more noise, but I don't want dead silence. I want a good airflow inside the case. I would be keeping the bottom AP-181 fans as they are. I need the following. 1. Two 12...

Silverstone Raven RV03. Sorry I forgot to mention that.NeilBlanchard wrote:What case are you using? If the inside of the case is getting too warm, then no amount of air flow over the heatsink will keep it cool.

Need better fans than the coolermaster blademasters
Hi, I made the mistake of going with an Antec Kuhler 620, which needed considerably high speed fans to keep my CPU cool. Should have bought a TR Archon instead. The stock fan wasn't enough to keep the temps below 75C, especially in the summer, so I bought a couple of BladeMasters as they were rated ...

Re: Antec Kühler H20 620 & 920 CPU Water Coolers
man if this review was out when i bought my 620, i wouldn't have bought it. the stock fan is so loud. i love silent PCs. i bought couple of Coolermaster Blademaster fans for the 620, not to run at full speed, but to run them at a reasonably quiet speed but get better results that the stock fan. when...
