Re: Goal, ~10 watts idle

Everything has just arrived, basic Fedora 18 install, Kernel 3.7rc1, no tweaking yet, ~7.4 watts.

This pict is 2G Ram, 64G M4 mSATA, no keyboard/mouse or LAN. All BIOS low power options enabled.

More to come.

Re: Goal, ~10 watts idle

All, thanks for the help. The 2800 is on the way, hard to beat the mSATA and mini PCIe wireless with DC input. Makes for a really clean installation without cables etc.

I'll be sure and post all of the details and power consumption.

Do you have a requirement for CPU performance or don't you know (yet)? While on battery power the 2800MT will have the necessary performance. Just while on c...

Goal, ~10 watts idle

Long time lurker, first post! For a new robotic project I'm looking for combo that will support around ~10 watts total system, idle. I'd prefer the performance of Ivy/Sandy bridge but I fear the DN2800MT might be the only MB/CPU capable of delivering it. Does any other combination deliver an idle co...
