Passive Heatsink I3 550

I just finished build my gaming pc and it has made me realize how loud the heatsink and fans are on my server. I wanted to upgrade the case my server was in because installing and removing hard drive is a nightmare and I love the hard drive arrangement in my new fractal design define r4. I ended up ...

Re: Fractal Design Define R4 Power LED.

Hmm. It is a clear shot of it, but I didn't see anywhere in the video where they removed the button. It isn't the sturdiest plastic so I really don't want to break it.

Fractal Design Define R4 Power LED.

Has anyone removed the power button on the Define R4? The LED is super bright and I am trying to remove the power button so I can dim the LED. Re: Advice and Critique on Gaming build.

As far as the CPU goes, I do some video encoding and some work on virtual machines. I can get the 3770k for $230 and the 3570k for $190. So the $40 difference is definitely worth it to me. Regarding the motherboard, I was just looking for a good stable board with good fan control. I think the main p...

Advice and Critique on Gaming build.

I feel like it is time to upgrade my current pc, I usually go 3-5 years between building new machines. I have also realized over time that I don't tend to upgrade much at all after I purchase so I want the PC to last well it its current configuration. I do not intend to overclock right away, but I w...
