I don't think anyone even made mini-ITX Ontarios. Asus had one with a bunch of SATA ports, obviously made for home NAS builders. You want Enough horsepower to saturate or nearly saturate said GigE via Samba So you are not asking for something cheap and quiet, you ask for a "big bore V8 Hemi"-NAS.
