Ok, this is my pc. Probably I have to buy more RAM... Anyway, it seems I need a.500W power supply at least.
Pcpartpicker suggest me an EVGA SuperNOVA 650. What do you think about? Is it silent?

I don't really know. I bring my pc to a computer center and they said with another power supply the mobo works.

Silent power supply compatible with my mobo?
I bought a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo, and I suddenly discovered that my power supply, a Corsair CX430, is not compatible. Can you suggest me a quiet, eco, reliable power supply that is compatible with my new mobo, for no more than 100$? I have a look at EVGA SuperNOVA 650, but I don't know if it's...

Re: Any recommendations for a silent graphic card?
Thank you, in the end I bought a Gigabyte GTX1050 (GV-N1050WF2OC-2GD). I hope it's a good version of GTX1050, it should arrive today. Thank you again.
I have another question, but I open a new thread.

Re: Any recommendations for a silent graphic card?
Hello Steve, thank you again for your past recommendations. What is this no fan closed case? Does it have capability for heatpipe connection to the GPU...or what other method will you use for cooling? No one. It's a case with some little holes and that's all. Heck, what's your application Honestly I...

Any recommendations for a silent graphic card?
Hello all. I would buy a silent graphic card. My case is a closed box, without space for fans. I would spend no more than 150$, Can you suggest me?

Re: New quiet but budget PC for Diablo III
The fact is that if you say that someone is doing something stupid, you are insulting him. The fact is dedicated PWM case fan connector is better, but I'll not call stupid a PWM chain. The fact is you never disperse my doubts about AsRock. It's not mandatory, but, if someone says to me I'm suggestin...

Re: New quiet but budget PC for Diablo III
If it were absolutely true, I wonder how a 140mm fan may fit an 80mm mount... As I said, that's not my problem. Absolutely no: "The God Themselves..." *Ahem*, can I ask you to not insult me and my friend, and to not quote Einstein randomly, please? I suggested him the mobo with h81 chipset instead ...

At the end he decided the configuration I updated in the first post. Probably quest_for_silence will get disappointed for mobo choice
Thank you all for your suggestions and useful informations I got. I would know more about a silent case, but I'll bother you in another thread.

Re: New quiet but budget PC for Diablo III
I think the way to distinguish cases is reported here: You can get a clue about this weirdness from the pinout diagrams for the fan headers in the user's manual. The 4th pin for the CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT headers is labeled as "CPU fan PWM", but for the CHA_FAN headers is instead labeled as "+5V". The ...

Re: New quiet but budget PC for Diablo III
Yes, I found this thread. Indeed Z87-Deluxe does not have any reference to pwm for chassis fan connectors in its manual. I suppose H81M-E is safe.quest_for_silence wrote:As you may find in these forums, there have been several reports about ASUS boards where 4-pin headers (not the CPU one) were fake PWM ones

Ok, fans round 2: Nexus Real Silent Case Fan PWM 80mm : this is for upgrading without modifying the existing case. Scythe GlideStream PWM 120mm : this is in case the case he wants to modify. Re: New quiet but budget PC for Diablo III
Given the poor case ventilation, chances are good that you'll need to tie a low rpm fan to the passive gfx card to prevent high temps. Try gaming with it first and monitor the temps. You can always add the fan later. I think I've told him so three days ago, but I felt that in case they would rather...

Yes, I chose the Asus model because is passive. Probably it's not so convenient to get an HD 7750 at $120. Probably it also was an 80mm, sorry, we measured it quickly. What about a case adjustment? We are discussing this today, he's quite able with this kind of works. In this case, what kind of fans...

Re: New quiet but budget PC for Diablo III
Ok, I have the other infos and an errata: the case has one 80mm fan on the side and space for one more 100mm fan on the rear, under the PSU. It does support uATX, so there's no problem with mobos. My friend agrees to buy a mobo with two fan sockets. I'm reluctant to suggest to buy something differen...

Re: New silent PC for Diablo III
@CA_Steve: ok, I have to check again. I can assure you there's no model on the case - it's a cheap the-hell-knows-who-made-it case. The best I can do is to measure the fan dimensions. That's why I'm tempted to suggest him a passive graphic card, but I'm also sceptic about his case cooling. About cpu...
