Does anyone who used this setup know ways to get the waterblock mounted on tighter? I use the spring clip design that they instruct for the Athlon XP. It doesn't work very well. At all.
Can I use the metal frames and bolts that they want for the K8 and P4? I'm using an Asus A78NX.

Best ATA controller card, for a low budget?
Right now I have too many IDE devices than ports on my motherboard. I somehow have to get my DVD-RW, DVD-ROM, CD-RW, 40gb 'Cuda, 80gb 'Cuda, and 6gb Medalist all running at once. I need a IDE controller.
Can anyone recommend a cheap one? Possibly one that will run CD-Rom's as well as HDD's?

Future Power 500w power supply, with mods.
My cold cathodes and another two Barracudas will be arriving FedEx in a couple of days, so I decided to stop at the local computer geek place and pick up a larger power supply. I was using a Enermax FCE365 beforehand. It was loud too, so I decided it needed to go anyway. I know that many regulars ru...

luck of the draw indeed.
I get a call from my brother, "my computer won't boot". Upon entering my parents house, I smell burning. Not a good start. Turns out the cheapo 80mm case fan I installed on the TT V7 heatsink gave up the ghost... and stayed this way for 6+ hours. Let the core cool for 24 hours. Replace heatsink/fan....

Opinions on the Cooler Master blower
In case you were wondering, i am referring to this
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.a ... ter+blower
It looks like it would be quieter than a traditional fan, so I ordered one. Hey, for $7, I can afford to be wrong. Does it rule, or does it blow(er)?

I recently built this system, but never got it working. It was working at my parent's house (boot to BIOS screen, nothing else), and I moved it to my apartament and now it doesn't work. I never had it fully working because the CPU temp would work itself up too high on the TT Aquarius 2 setup. I thou...

I really don't know what's going on with my main system. I'm at the end of my rope... Here's what it is: XP 2200 on Asus A78NX Deluxe 2x Corsair Twinx 1024mb DDR GFX 5200 AGP I have everything plugged in, hit the switch, no video. Originally I thought it was a poor video card, or a video card confli...

Modded Raidmax PSU, how warm is too warm?
So I had a black aluminum Raidmax 400w PSU, with the two hideously bright, ridiculously loud 80mm fans. I opened the bad boy up and removed the front 80mm, the one that hangs out of the power supply. I used some small plastic washers and the fan screws, to replace the original grille. This once quit...

Making progress already!
So I got really bored yesterday, and thankfully the UPS guy showed up around the same time! Step 1. Gutted Raidmax 400w power supply, removing hideously bright second fan, and replacing fan grille. Minus one fan. Air leaving power supply is barely warm, so I think it won't catch fire anytime soon. S...

Best fanless, feature-rich NForce2 board?
Looking to buy another NForce2 board for another project.
My expectations are:
1) NO FAN
2) Lots of features, like AGP8x, firewire, etc.
And even better, if it was undervoltable!
Thanks in advance.
