Re: Fractal Design Meshify C
There is no sound absorbing properties in the Meshify C, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV07IVhIFes
Fractal's new Meshify and Focus G line of cases is aimed more at "Gaming & DIY PC build" crowd.
You're much better off with Define R5 for building a silent rig.

Surprised Fractal Design's new vortex fan wasn't included. They're made by GLOBE, who SPCR Mike liked as oem fan manufacturer. Maybe you weren't aware of them.

Hi Everyone, I'm Bill Owen from Mnpctech. It's been awhile since I've posted. Re: Fractal Design Define Mini
My video review of the define R2, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yw6U0w2eWos Fractal's initial focus was making cases for "Silent PC" consumers, but discovered their simple exteriors appealed to a much broader range of users. Compared to Antec's P series, Fractal's cases have more space for HDs, mor...

Nate & I posted HD video review of the R2. Dissected it, more or less for YouTube. NCIX.com (canada) is taking pre-orders for $109.99 + shipping. I can wait until it gets stocked by a online reseller in US.

I apologize for not having Notify on, otherwise i would have caught your post derekva. Thank you shleepy. The Sonex was 1" thick, which performed better than .25" melamine foam. We stopped stocking it for several reasons. #1 Illbruck increased the wholesale price 35% after building a new man...

I've always sprayed the backside of foam, then adhered it to the panel, or floor of the chassis, ceiling of case or 5.25 bays. Thats how I applied the foam in this photo (Compucase LX619 case) http://www.mnpctech.com/SonexCasewb.jpg If you want the option of removing it, I think your idea is great! ...

Well, as long as Bill has initiated the necro-posting, I'll chime in as well. The Sonex that I got from Bill about 3 years ago is still in perfect shape. It's been mounted on the wall behind my computers with warm air flowing onto it for 15+hours per day for the entire time. It shows no signs of dr...
