Re: Zotac IONITX-P-E CULV Motherboard

What sort of temps are other people getting with this board? I've just put together a build inside a Super Case MI-008 , with the psu removed and replaced with a picopsu. The only other items in the case are an SSD and DVD drive. With the cpu fan going at full blast, and both cores at 100% using pri...

My antec 3700 has a 120mm panaflo in back and 120mm pabst in front, both running 5v. I've got a 400w super silencer psu modded with a panaflo. On my asus p4c 800-e deluxe motherboard, the case temp is reading at 33c (room temp about 25c/77f) while doing some web browsing. The cpu is at 38c. The high...

I replaced the fan in my SS400 with a panaflo L1A. I'm satisfied with the sound, but I can't recommend it though because the fan only spins up about 50% of the time when I start my computer. The other times it rocks back and forth like it's trying, and i have to slip in a pencil and give it a kickst...

I have the 160gb spinpoint. When I had it mounted in the lower drive cage in my antec slk3700, it was incredibly loud. I've also been disappointed with my ss400. I've had my new system up almost two weeks, and it wasnt' until I got a heatpipe on my video card and finally got my HD quieted down a couple days ago, that I realized the psu fan was making a faint noise, almost like crickets chirping in the distance. I had the exact same problem with vibration in my antec slk3700, which I traced to the lower drive cage. Even when the drive, a samsung 160gb sata, was idling, the whole case vibrated so much that it was humming. I could press down on the top of the case and the tone of the hum would change, but not...

Drill bits for stainless steel?

For those of you who have mounted your own fans in stainless steel cases like the antec 3700, what kind of drill bit did you use to make the holes for the fan isolators/screws? Is there a dremel bit that would handle the job, or would they wear out too quickly?

I've seen the same google attrition for the version 'C' drives.
