I think the prob is the Zalman Coolant - its jammes up the Pump, and Waterblocks with blue goo or crystals - the ones you saw in the tubes.

Open one of your blocks and see if you find any of the blue stuff -

I sent my Reserator 2 back cuz of this -

Plexis do crack on occation due to tention in the plexi - faulty contsruction. On another note: I RMA:d my Zalman Reser...

Watercooling Radiator - for 120mm or dual 80mm?

I just got a so called low noise Sunon 120mm fan with the Asetek Waterchill water cooling kit and I must say it is pretty noisy even at 7V. But I feel it pulls a whole lot more air then my 120mm PAPST at 7V wich is more quiet though. Now I just recieved my 2 160 GB Samsung Spinpoint and they are muc...

Yes thats a great Idea... Reverse the PSU fan -- and make a vent or duct from the back of the PSU wich is inside the case and up through a top blow hole... That must make the PSU run cooler and much quieter. Oh and yeah as I have a 120mm intake fan in the back I will only suck cold air in --- Yes in...

Like I have 2 IDEs that I use now and I wish to keep them if possible for storage space... Im thinking on buying this Samsung one, the SATA ...

Thanx you guys - this helped alot... As I dont know much about electrics I just want to clarify something about this powercycle issue you mentioned. Im not quite clear on what that is. Is it not enough if I have a fan controller that feeds the fan juice at a too low voltage for the fan to start as d...

Passive Water Cooling Emergenzy FAN System

I was thinking of making a fanless ( or almost ) water cooling system - putting copper pipes on my room floor ...

What I need it a easy way to monitor the water temp and when need arises start the 120 MM fan that sits on the radiator.

Anyone have any ideas?

Well I suppose its more or less like this -- IF your running noisy fans or reasonably quiet ones at 12 volt - then put in the damping material. Cuz ur airflow will be enough to keep ur temp down. But if u like me already have a fairly quiet computer - with quiet fans at 5V spinning slowly and not cr...

Well as for the cash I thought some 50 usd wasnt that much to spend on trying to make my comp more quiet - hell I burn 3 times that in one night out anyways. But it was a complete waste unless I start modding my case heavilly with larger fans etc etc. I guess I can live with a 45 C case temp when im...

Blow Hole - in-take or out-take or CLOSED?

Im gonna use the AcoustiPack Deluxe V2 to issolate my Xaser III Case walls and im in the process of thinking whether to cover up the top of the case and the blowhole or to maybe use it as a cold intake air for my PSU ( Seasonic SS-400AGX ) - or to maybe have it as a outblow cuz well hot air rises up...
