i never found a real cure for the problem besides buying another motherboard the closest i could get to quieting it was desoldering the chokes and coating them entirelly with the high temp silicon stuff and then obviouslly soldering them back on. but it never got rid of all the noise just made it a ...

I had the same problem with my MSI K7N2 Delta-L motherboard... However, the board will work just fine without the connector plugged in. i just noticed that my +12v as reported by my mn31n motherboard in bios setup is 9volts without the connector but the proper 12 with it what is the msi owners with...

oh apparantlly its not the same way on the shuttle mn31n i emailed them about it and they responded "We have never heard that kind of problem happen on our MN31N" any way mine wont stop crashing without the 12v atx cable first i thought that maybe the extra power from the connector helps with the in...
