Passive Video Card with 2 VGA/DVI Outs?
Hi guys. I am building another system, but this one is a bit of a challenge for me. This system will have 2 monitors: a 19" LCD and a 50" (or more) large screen DLP tv with a VGA/DVI input. So....I am looking for a passively cooled video card that has 2 VGA and/or DVI outputs. I havent seen many, bu...

Nexus 120
I have 1 120 Nexus on my system (plus 1 in the PS) and a nexus HSF. my system runs nearly silent, and is totally silent if i turn the HSF down to 60% (with speedfan). i think the nexus 120s are the way to go. my temps never break 40, with those 2 120's pumping away.

Nexus 120mm on a Zalman
Does anyone know the CFM of the Zalman 92mm (ZM-F2) fan? I bought the Zalman CNPS 6500 AlCu, and at full tilt that fan is very noisy....much more so than the stock HSF that came with my 2.8 processor. So, I am thinking of swapping out the fan with a Nexus 120. I have one of those already and its alm...

FYI, i went with the northwood. everyone i spoke with said its hard to cool the prescotts. someone with a set up very much like mine said they had an 8C jump with a prescott. if you care about quiet, i dont know that the performance difference is worth it. and i'd even question if there is ANY perfo...

mobo
i am using a p4800, which 'says' it can accept the new prescott processors. but i am sure it will be a different story if i try to install one. any view on whether and when the 1mb L2 cache makes a difference?

CPU Upgrade: 2.8GB Prescott or Northwood???
OK, I am upgrading my processor from a 1.8 to a 2.8. I am trying to decide between the prescott and the northwood. any opinions? i do a small bit of gaming and video editing, but usually it more web surfing & other 'non-intensive' uses. i guess i like the idea of 1mb L2, but i dunno if that will tra...

thanks
the worry i have is that my case (evercase) puts the nexus PSU right up against the p4p800 mobo. and on the p4p, the area where the HSF mounts is very close to the edge of the board. see http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/socket478/p4p800/p4p800_l.jpg the 7000 will work on the mobo, but i think its dim...

Zalman 7000Cu Fit on a Asus P4P Deluxe?
I am thinking of upgrading from my stock intel HSF to the zalman. anyone use one of these on a P4P Deluxe mobo? I am also using a Nexus 3500.....thats a large PSU so I am worried about the Zalman fitting.
Anyone have a similar set-up?

My Temps
Seagate 160 IDE - 42
Seagate 160 SATA - 49
BUT....these are on a warm day with light use & no case fan. IN the summer & during heavy use they make get a lot higher. At what level do I have to worry and get a case fan to drop in?
Thanks!

Problem with my P4P800 Deluxe Mobo - HELP please!
Just rebuild my system based on on a new P4P800 Deluxe. All seems ok, but whenever I startup, there are about 4 "devices" that come up as not having drivers. I have allowed it to search the mobo CD for the drivers, but no luck. And since the devices are hjust listed as "other devices" i have no clue...

Experience with the Nexus PHT-3600 SkiveTek? Anyone?
I want to replace my CPU stock heatsink & fan. I am running a P4 1.8GB on an Asus P4P800 Deluxe. No case fan and just installed the Nexus 3500 PS & fan (which is very quiet). I havent seen too much talk or any reviews about this, but was hoping to see if anyone here has experience with it.
