If you are asking about the overall feet themselves I linked to my mod in this posting at: 1 3/4" Tall Case Feet If your question was about where I got the "QuietFeet" that were attached to the bottom of the feet mod they came from QuietPC . Ah thank you, I had failed to see the link to your tall c...

Green vertical streaks when using Radeon 9600
Hi, I bought a Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 from newegg, and it worked fine for about four and a half days, but then last night after I booted up, I saw these green vertical streaks all over the monitor. http://riffola.com/blender/green-lines.jpg I have not installed anything new since Wednesday, nor ch...

Cool & Quiet does work on ASUS K8V Deluxe. I assembled my first PC on Monday. I turned on C&Q in the BIOS, then followed ASUS' instructions, and let XP update the CPU drivers from the ASUS CD. Once that was done, I installed ASUS' C&Q Utility, followed by upgrading AMD's C&Q drivers to the latest ve...

Sounds like the best idea to me. That way you can easily stick a Fanmate inline if the "Cool 'n Quiet" thingy doesn't live up to your expectations. Thanks for your help you guys. I've ordered two Panaflo tails, and I'll be splicing them into place because I can't get the pins out of these Panaflo p...

Thanks for the tips and help. Trip, I don't think that adapter will work, because the 12v Aux plug is the same as the one on the fan. So what I will do is order molexes, and some wire, cut the plug off, crimp or splice a 3 pin molex on, and use that to hook it up to my motherboard, and let the mothe...

Are those really wires that come from the FAN? I think the looks like wires that come from your PSU. Thinks seems to be a bit unclear. Since you got a 2-wire fan you will not be able to monitor the fans RPM. The latest tests on PWM vs voltage regulation would point me to suggest that you connect to...

I thought that PSU connection was for the mobo?? It has 4 pins in a square arrangement, where did you buy the fan? I bought them from Schlotkins in the Deals forum . Here's what they look like. Sorry about the quality, I took this picture with a camera phone, because the USB ports on this old machi...

Panaflo FBK 12G12LH molex help [Newbie level]
Hi, I got two Panaflo FBK 12G12LHs and I'd like to use them with my Sonata (stock PSU for now) and ASUS K8V Deluxe with either AMD 64 3000+ or 3200+. I understand that I will not be able to run the fans from the motherboard, because they are too demanding. What do I need to mod the fans so that I ca...

Sadly no where. I called Gigacase and they have no immediate plans to bring 5603 to the US. They didn't even have 5602 in black, only Beige, I asked if they would get me a 5603 or 5602 in black and they weren't particularly helpful, they said it all depends on the "shipment", the next one being in m...

Sonata it is.
I purchased the Sonata from newegg.com for $105 including shipping today. I couldn't get Gigacase.com to order the newer Yeong Yang cases for me, and I didn't feel the P160 was worth the money. So I opted to go with the Sonata.
Thanks SPCR!

YY-5602 That's based on the YY-5601 but without the louvres. I am *really* interested in this case. It looks like it has a good path for airflow from the front and the CPU duct looks interesting too. The grills are rather open and non restrictive in my opinion.

Any case with 120mm fan mounts and an extra 3.5" bay can also use one of these , if it doesn't already have front USB/FireWire ports... That would be a last resort option. Thanks for pointing it out. While browsing around, I found this new Yeong Yang case YY-5603 . I am not sure if the vent style i...

Thanks for the response Trip. Right now I am seriously leaning towards the Sonata, because the rest of the cases are either too expensive (Fong Kai & P160) or not really as per my tastes (Chenbro Gaming Bomb). What I don't like about the Sonata is the colour difference between it's door and the rest...

Please recommend an ATX case with firewire and 120mm fan(s)
Could you please recommend an ATX good case with 120mm fans, firewire, relatively silent and room for expansion? I am not sure if the Lian Li PC6077 (Black) can use a 120mm fan, I do like the flexibility it offers. I don't like the overall look of the Sonata, but if I can't find anything better I mi...
