I really hope you didn't pay too much for it. I've found a review of it: http://www.planet3dnow.de/artikel/hardware/netzteile/netzteil2006/netzteile_unter_50_euro/9.shtml Eevn though I don't know german, the pictures speak more than thousand words. Unable to cope with full load, poor overall efficie...

They've typoed the 12V maximum load; it's 41A on the 550W model and 52A on the 650W model.EsaT wrote:Here's one review of S12-650E+

12V maximum load is 455W (~38A) so looks much like this is very similar to original S12 models.

You actually bring up a really important concern, I'm wondering how likely it'll be to run into minimum amperage issues with seasonic's new psus. I hope we don't see too many motherboard/psu compatability issues with low power systems since that put a huge damper on the neohe... My computer isn't t...

Just bought my 550W S12-Energy+ model yesterday. First impressions were quite bad... the powersupply wouldn't even boot my computer. Then changed the connector going to my graphics card (AGP) and got it to boot; been happy ever since ;) The PSU is very quiet even in a nexus breeze case which really ...

To be honest that Tt 680w looks like crap on paper. +12V1 and +12V2 ratings are essentially the same as those on my Seasonic S12 330w . The problem is that all the power is on the +5V and +3.3V, but modern PCs rely on +12V for 70-90% of their power needs. TT 680W has 3 12 volt rails providing combi...

Re: Nexus NX-5000 psu
Hi, I've had the PSU along side with the Breeze case and I've been very happy with it. I'm pretty sure it is not the quietest PSU around, but it stays very cool all the time, regardless of load (even though being the only out fan in the case), which was one quite important criteria. It is louder tha...
