Oh ok i guess your degree of noise toleerance is slightly more than mine so i doubt you'd mind a little noise. I too run an overclocked mobile barton. Theyre great chips however mines overclocked on a silent setup and its running pretty sweetly :D.

I would say re-evaulate the need for the NB and the GPU waterblocks. Why watercool them when you can passively cool them. Im not sure how hot that gfx card runs and whether it can be passively cooled or not but i'd say definately passively cool your nb, watercooling it will make the rest of your tem...

Using this watercooling box would create vastly superior cooling abilities than dual reserators with about the equivalent noise of a single reserator. And those up and coming CSP-750's look very promising, thought of using those chylld? 2 of those are smaller than a single eheim 1048 and have the pr...

Nice project! Very professionally done WB too. I'd love to be able to try the same thing if i had the equipment. What was the pic of the inside of the zalman for? Any mods done to it?

BTW are you going to use the reserator to cool the cpu too? or just the psu? cooling a PSU is VERY demanding.

Yeah its been done before, basically people used fishtanks that had high capacity, they would work well for people who dont have a 24/7 computer as the water constantly and gradually heats up, just think of it as a very slow kettle. There are however alot of annoyances in having such a setup like fi...

I just bought a aerocool VM-101, totally fanless cooling solution for the radeon 9800 pro. Its like a big thermalright heatsink bolted to the back of the gfx card with heatpipes, its a bit tighti in there with my watercooling but works amazingly.

I knew someone a while back who used the freezer system inside his small fridge that had a freezer bit, basically he was going for max temps and max overclock and he ran a mix of 1/2 water and 1/2 antifreeze, it was also in a 24/7 rig. He was able to run his cpu at 0 deg C (with lots of insulation) ...

Interesting results, i think that reserator isnt designed for full load constantly as the temperatures look like it wont sustain a 24/7 full load system considering varying ambient will greatly affect a rad system like zalmans with no or very little airflow.

Got a new Radeon 9800 Pro - Need Quiet Cooling Advice

Hi, i bought a new radeon 9800 pro the other day for a good price which replaced my old old geforce 2 with its fan removed lol. Anyway basically my computer has gone from nice and quiet to very noisy and im not a happy bunny :(. I hear that the 9800 series cards exceeds the capabilities of the zalma...

Ive got a quite relavent question regarding the 2 psu's.

If I buy both of the psu's and i use say 300W of power, would the 460W psu run quieter than the 400W psu as the 460W psu has a larger capacity and is capable of taking more load/more efficient?

Promising Tagan 480W PSU review

Hi im not sure if someones posted this already but this tagan 480w psu seems like a very high quality psu for a good price. I think it *seems* quite good for those looking for a high powered/quiet solution although i doubt it'd be as quiet as some 300 or 350w psus. http://www.3dvelocity.com/reviews/...

I sold my juhib 1700 to purchase it before it devalued too much in money, at the time the money i spent on the mobile barton 2500 was about 1/2 of the cost of a 3200+ chip and my chip is capable of beyond 3600+ speeds, my overclock is regarded as very gentle.
