KNIGHTLEY OR PORTMAN

KEIRA or PORTMAN.

Keep in mind, Portman doesn't do nude pictures, Keira does. Portman graduated from Harvard Law with good grades, I'm not sure Keira went to school.

So make your subjective vote. :)

It might suck in air from the hot exhaust getting out of the system. You could fix that by sticking an air diverter, like the one in the V1000, on the case's exhaust.

I believe the new Arctic Silencer Heatsinks do that. I guess they must have a reason to do that.

Have you thought about reversing the fan to get rid of some of the stagnant air that would necessarily build up in the case?

Cutting a hole in a case

Okay, if I wanna punch a hole in the side of my case to fit in a duct right over the CPU, what's the best way to do that? (If you need specifics: Its an SLK 3700...)

Also, I'm making a PSU duct with the hole at the top (SEE ARM's PSU duct), any thoughts/ideas on how to do this?

Thanks.

The general consensus around here is that the supertornado is your best bet.

However if you're gonna mod your computer, you might as well get the super silencer for some ducting action, which I feel would be more rewarding than a bottom feeding Tornado.

you dont have to ditch the card, just get the VGA silencer REVISION 3!

It's brilliant, I love it. Those stock VGA fans make a lot more noise than I had expected...

I believe the Sanyo Denki Petit Ace is the one found on the Alpha 8952 (Quiet version). I'm not sure if this helps, but the fan was reviewed along with the heatsink on this site.

I'm a little confused, can you explain please?

When you say "cut out the corners" are you just... making the holes larger? Because if you're cutting out the corners, how do you even screw them in?

EDIT: A little clarification.

Nexus 120mm + EAR Grommets

On Silicon Acoustic's website, they say that the nexus has "closed corners" which makes it incompatible with their fan isolators.

Has anyone had any experience and shed some light as to what I should do?

Whoa whoa whoa, fans are a BAD idea in a TV. The reason that TV manufacturers dont put in fans is because they will blow dust where its not needed. And unlike in computers, dust on the TV circuitry WILL fuck things up.

DO not recommend it, bud.

Technically, it would work... But why? You'd be blowing hot air DIRECTLY onto your HSF which would make that speed up faster, and if your 120mm exhaust is thermally controlled, then that would speed faster as well. I really can't see that as a good idea. Basically, Higher Case temperature, Louder Co...

About the CFM of the Nexus at 7 volts, is it REALLY that low? (Half the CFM of an 80L at 5v)? I've got a relatively cool computer (2.6 P4, 9500 w/Silencer, Passive Northbridge, and 1 WD as my only heat producers), and pretty much everything is ducted out, as in my 2.6 is sucking heat right out of th...
