Is this true about PFC
Power Factor Correction makes the utilities companies happy, but it certainly doesn't SAVE you energy. Industries get billed by power factor, but home users only get billed by KWH, so power factor correction doesn't help you. Actually, active power factor correction will COST you more, since it suc...

To answer the question , No. There is no SFF machine as quiet as the zen. Just cant be done with a fanned PSU and fanned vid card. now, if you want quiet, then yes other sff machines can be quiet. But in no way "silent". Even with the zen, you are going to have vibration problems with the harddrive....

I dunno about you z_unit, but alot of my friends and family have gave me praise for quieting their computer. Noise is define as unwanted sound. So therefore i want it to go away. simple as that. I didnt drop tons of money on nice speakers just to have a fan roaring in the backgroup. I like having a ...

http://thermaltake.com/xaserCase/tsunami/tsunamimenu.htm Layout and features are very similar to the Antec SLK3700AMB, but it's about half the weight. I'd love to see a review of this case. Front ventilation looks pretty poor. Rear grill is crappy, a lá 3700AMB, would need removal. That said, I'd l...

So Ralf, What mouse do you use with your PSK5000 and UltraX? Errm, I'm a trackball guy so my mouse doesn't count. :) (I use an MS Trackball Explorer, FWIW. It's clicks are as loud as a standard mouse but it doesn't bug me. I tend to use my keyboard in place of my mouse quite often. Keyboard shortcu...

@jools
having a PSU with a 120mm fan is not an important thing, in fact, i think it is not good at all for a "quiet" system.
