I've got the v1100, i set it up for wc, removed both hd cages and the power supply divider. Also to increase the airflow i cut away a bunch of the grill on the bottom filter with a dremmel and i'm not using the 2nd filter, the intake goes right to my rad. Lined it with leftover powersnooze foam i ha...

I used the powersnooze stuff last fall. Got it from quietpc.com as a damaged box package, think after the shipping it was $35 or so. The only other acoustic stuff i've used before was akaska which i wasn't too impressed with. This stuff is nothing fancy, 3 sheets of a thick white foam, 3 sheets of a...

Your fans should quiet down with less resistance as far as i know. I'm not too sure. I may be interested in your sonata especially without the power supply. I love mine, it was great once i hacked up the front for the airflow and chopped off the back grill and replaced the powersupply fan. But then ...

besides the price these cases look sick, especially the v1100 if the intake isn't screwed. The hd's seem to be in their own isolated box that you can soundproof the hell out of while still keeping good airflow and not adding heat to the rest of the system. Dampen the hd's, maybe add a bit more foam,...
