Loudest fan I've had is a TT SMart and Silent (thats a good one!) Volcano 9. You could of strapped 2 of these two each wing of a jumbo and it would have been adequate.

Where do you live? If its UK get the latest issue of CustomPC, they have a 2 page guide about managing cables to make it look tidy and increase airflow. I'm planning to follow it once I get my new CPU and some cable ties and wrap etc.

One UK PC mag said the fan noise isnt as imposing as you might think to look at the 2 fan design, but I would think it would still be pretty loud...

Zalman recommend removing the PCI cover below the card to reduce case temps, they say by up to 5 degrees, but I cant verify this.

Well, the "MSI FX5700 TD128" and the "MSI FX5950 Ultra 256mb" are both compatible with it, so this one probably is... As long as the card has pushpin holes around the GPU (which the two MSI's I had did) then you can install the heatsink. The only other sticking point would be the length of the heatp...

I was originally going to get a 3200+, which I think is 2.2Ghz, the other thing that attracted me to it was the 400Mhz fsb...so if I can get the XP2500M at 11x200 I'll be happy enough :)

I haven't used one personally, but the two MSI cards I had in the past (Ti4200 and FX5600) both had pretty small, loud fans on them.... Even if this thing runs at 26dB, thats still audible...the ZM80C-HP only runs at 20dB in Silent Mode, which is enough for a 5900XT i think, it does my FX5700 Ultra ...

Need some advice about o/c Xp2500 M

Hey, I'm upgrading my processor in a few days. At the moment I'm running an XP2100+ Palomino core with a Zalman CNPS6000AlCu running in Silent mode (1500rpm) I'm thinking of getting an XP2500 Mobile (1.45v core) and overclocking it to 2200-2500MHz with a core voltage of 1.75v or less, from 1833MHz (...
