anyone know of a good wireless keyboard that isn't all bulbous like the logitech and microsoft ones? (aside from the di novo, which is my current favorite, aside from its price)

you guys are probably right, but solids do transmit sound better than gases, and I think liquids are in the middle somewhere. I have no idea what goes on at the transition between two mediums though.

I'm not an engineer or a physicist, but I thought water was a great transmitter of sound, definately faster than air, mabye sound is lost in the transition from water to air though

Thanks for your responses. Yeah Bluefront I don't see them being used as filters that often, probably because they're so thin in a high dust environment they'd probably lose a lot of air flow pretty quick and a lot of air filters are concerned with more than just dust, but I have heard of someone us...

nylon stockings as an air filter

Hi, I've heard that nylon stockings make really great air filters. Anyone have any experience with this? Does it work well, or would you recommend a more traditional air filter? Thanks.
