Seasonic S12 430W making loud noise under load!
Hello, i just built a system with a Seasonic S12 430w PSU. I noticed when i put the computer under load (Burn In Test or Gaming) the fan on the S12 increases in speed and makes a loud purring/ticking noise. It is the loudest piece in my system. At idle with no load the PSU is dead silent with the fa...

I just picked up a 160gb sata samsung with a nidec motor from the santa clara microcenter. I installed it in my slk3000b, i am kind of dissappointed in its noise level while seeking/writing. It is just as loud as my 4 year old maxtor drive. I think i am going to return it, i was expecting a much qui...

I just built my cousins computer with 4 of these 120mm tek chain fans, 1 intake, 1 exhaust, 1 on XP-120, and 1 on the side panel window. These fans are very quiet when turned all the way down, or even on the middle setting. The 4 fans are almost inaudible unless you put your ear right up on the case...

My experience with my SLK3000B has been somewhat disapointing for 2 reasons, which are huge IMO. First off, the case seems to be extremely flimsy, comparable to a generic case. I was expecting a sturdy thick steel case with a flimsy plastic front panel, what i got is a flimsy case overall, it looks ...

I have removed the fan and the purple bracket and it still buzzes. I noticed that when i boot up without the hard drive connected, it doesn't buzz anymore. I called antec support to ask them about this and i was told that my hard drive is defective causing irregular vibrations throughout the case. I...

So far i am very disappointed with my 3000b, the front panel makes an intermittent buzzing noise that comes and goes, you can stop the noise by pressing the front panel or with the front panel removed it doesn't make this noise. What is the deal with Antec's front plastic panels buzzing? Does anyone...

I have a question regarding the motherboard brass standoffs and screw package. In the review on page 3, it says that the case comes with, a set of motherboard standoffs, mounting screws and insulating washers. What are Insulating washers? My 3000B did not seem to come with these. Does anyone have a ...

I removed the front intake fan from the case and now my CPU temps at idle are 33-34C, and 49-50C at full load That is very strange to me because i had always thought that the more fans in the case the cooler it would be. Do you think that a dual fan PSU would help any in temps? I'm not too picky abo...

Does the Zalman 7000alcu HSF fit on an Intel mobo in Sonata?
Hello, I just got an Antec Sonata case and an IntelD875PBZLK motherboard, and was wondering if the Zalman 7000alcu HSF will fit correctly with this set up? Also, is it better to install HSF on Mobo outside of case or inside mounted up? Thanks.....Marxx

What Do I connect to the vreg fan header on Intel D875PBZLK?
Hello, i have an Antec Sonata case, with 2 Antec 120mm case fans. I was wondering what exactly is the vreg fan header for? Is this where the blue fan monitoring wire from the psu connects to? Also, do you recommend plugging my case fans to the motherboard headers, or to the 5v fan only connectors on...
