The obvious material to me would probably be a clothes dryer duct segment. They're designed to be thermally efficient to avoid waste heat escaping into the home, they're inexpensive, they're flexible, and they're big. I haven't seen much discussed extensively on systems that use case fans coupled with a duct or shroud over the CPU.
