So, just to make sure that's clear - the "system requirements" are taking the safe road and assuming your power supply's rated capacity I agree. I'm running the card with an 'under-spec' PSU and I have it maxed out in Crysis for quite a while with no problems at all. I have a 420W Tagan. I'm sure m...

Does anyone know if the Sapphire Ultimate Edition 3850HD will fit a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L board? I'm worried about the Northbridge heatsink and memory slots being in the way of the GPU heatsink... As I mentioned earlier, my HD3870 fits my GA-P35-DS3L board just fine - I very much doubt the faster ca...

If it's any help I have just bought the same motherboard and graphics card and everything fits just fine apart from the fact that it uses 3 slots. However, the memory I have is this: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=402849 and there seems to be 23mm between the top of my m...

I just got one question for you: when the card is on the motherboard does the heatpipe stay in a level above or under the RAM? Check the 3 images here and see what iam refering to http://www.hartware.de/review_780_2.html I've already put everything in the case and there seems to be 23mm between the...

Anyone know a UK/Euro stockist for these? I just bought the PowerColor HD3870 SCS3 from: http://www.scan.co.uk I also got a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard. The video card also uses the space for PCI-E slots either side of it. Not the end of the world since I still have one remaining PCI-E slot an...

DM10 noisy when seeking
I bought a 200GB Diamondmax 10 drive since I got the impression they were quite quiet and they're cheap.
Spinning its fine, but I find it makes quite a lot of noise when seeking.
Is this normal for these drives? Anything I can do about it?
TIA

I knew someone would reply with that :D The side with just the grate has the four screw holes used to attatch it to the case. The opposite side, which doesn't have any screw holes has an opening for the fan; a socket for mains power and an opening through which all the motherboard & coponent power l...

After reading good reviews, I ordered this anyway with the view of doing a fan mod if it was too noisy. However, I have recieved the True380XRP instead of the True380PGC but I can't find any information on the web or Antec's site about the XRP version. Anyone have any ideas what it is? Could it be t...

Difference between these two Antecs?
Trying to decide between these two antecs: Antec 400 Watt Power Supply ATX Smartpower Dual Fan £41.05 Antec TRUE380PGB TruePower 380W ATX Power Supply £43.60 ... but the 400 is slightly cheaper than 380! Why would that be? Would the 380 be quieter possibly? If not abviously I;d just plump for the hi...

What about my monitor?
After getting a flower cooler for my CPU, an enclosure for my HD, modding my PSU and putting my entire PC in a cupboard I can now actually hear my Monitor (19inch LG Flatscreened CRT) quite loudly! Theres a reasonably highpitched buzz coming from what I assume to be a transformer. I dont mind taking...

Antec PSU
I have been offered an Antec SL300SP . Does anyone have any experience with them? Currently my system is noisy and underpowered. Will this PSU be OK (and how quiet) for: Abit KG7 Athlon 1.4GHz 1 HD @ 7200 Geforce 2MX 400 ADSL Modem/TV Card/Sound Blaster Live 5.1 On the Antec site I have found the fo...
