I believe thet pad you are referring to is a thermal pad, though I don't recall getting one with my AX-478. You can use either, but I'd reccommend using the thermal grease (or better yet some Arctic silver) instead of the thermal pad, since it is much easier to remove if decide to switch cpu's in th...

Yes I have been using panaflo fans for pretty much everyting. <br>Undervolted enermax psu mod, case fans, and cpu fan.
