the most efficient one?

Which PSU is *the* most efficient one out there?
Silence isn't as important as efficiency to me, simply because sound is usually only an issue when there is a waste of energy(heat, ..)..

In Denmark pretty much 100% of all power is green power. Well don't shoot me if it's 80 or 90, but you catch my point. I love the country, and unlike what most *insert nasty word here* think, wind power windmills do not deface the country side at all. That being said: I love alternative power suppli...

Why waste time? Because the performance of a dell computer sucks compared to any other computer.
My Dell optiplex G4 (P4 1.8gig) ran a LOT slower than my Athlon 1700+.

External storage?

I'm looking for something that can turn an internal IDE HD into a USB(2) external hd.. I've seen some kind of enclosure for a harddisk that does this on a banner add somewhere but I honestly have no idea who produces or sells these. I could of course just buy a regular external HD, but those things ...

The sound quality on the epia M's is fairly decent and is 6.1. But to answer your question: Yes, you can use a dual riser card and run a pci graphics card and a soundcard. And yes, if you can modify the the 12v power supply (by Morex) you can plug into your car :). All you need is a conversion cable...

Getting rid of a buzzing noise?

Well it's not really a coil buzz, it sounds more like air leaking out of a tire (which obviously can't be the case in a pc, but that's what it sounds like anyway). It usually occurs during the scrolling, but it's becoming more frequent all the time. I guess it *is* my (zalman) PSU after all. So what...

I dislike peltiers. They don't deal with the heat, they just move the problem.
They're (in my rather humble opinion) only useful when stacked and watercooled.

Of course the dynamic load thing does sound fairly interesting ..

I have a really weird problem .. whenever I use my scrollwheel to scroll up or down in IE a strange, high pitched noise comes from my computer. It sounds like a short coil whine :?. What the hell could this be? :?
