I'm trying to find a mouse that is silent or nearly silent when the buttons are clicked. I read through the stickied thread in this forum about quiet mice and keyboards, but it didn't help much in narrowing down my choice. My first choice would be the Quietsmooth USB mouse from quietmouse.com, but it's too expensive (~$40).

Can anyone recommend a mouse with quiet clicks, that is less than $25. I would prefer a wired mouse, but I'd be ok with wireless.

I just got a mouse with silent scrolling, but the buttons still click. I think it is the nature of switches to click?
