Animals and silent fans (Nexus, Slip Stream, etc.)

So here's a unique question. These fans are all favored at SPCR because they are silent to us human beings. But what about pets - dogs in particular? Can the lower frequency noises that we can't hear be bothersome to them?

Of course I have no scientific proof, but my dogs favorite spot to lay down is on the rug by my door in my room. Coincidentally located right next to my PC which, although not as silent as some of yours, is virtually inaudible to me.

Speaking in extremely general terms, most pets extended frequency range is in the higher frequencies and I don't believe as much so in the lower frequencies.

I know cats like lounging near AC units in the warmer summer days and lie around warm places like a fireplace or a quadcore gaming PC. I doubt the noise of either really bothers them. :P

Cats do seek out quiet spots in our three-room apartment, but that's just because they're the most secluded, I feel.
