If I buy an used item from someone in Canada, what potential types of tariffs, duties, taxes, other could I expect either Canada or the US to impose on package?

Is buyer or seller typically responsible for fees?

None in case of Canada, and the buyer pays it. I'm not sure how the U.S. end of the deal works. Will probably depend on what you're buying...
