cool - more choices can't be a bad thing. Shame the Katana was tested on a different platform as that would be another competitor on price and ability/ necessity to run as stock.

what will the next testing platform be, given the new Intel and AMD sockets coming out? Will you wait until then to update or stick with an intermediate (775/ 939) solution? It'd be interesting to hear your thoughts on the matter :)

Sure this isnt a typo? The much vaunted transition seems to have stalled in a big way I thought. But then again I havent looked at Dell or HP/Q machines lately.

Not bad for a $25 HSF tho.

At Spring IDF, Intel announced that they would stop supporting ATX altogether sometime this fall. That means that any boards built (or sold) by Intel will be BTX.

However, chances are that the influence will be seen in smaller form factors, not the mid-tower configuration. Once Conroe arrives, I expect to see a larger number of BTX systems.
