Has anyone found a NM10 motherboard with miniPCI-E slot on it?

EDIT: Intel's board has one;
http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/m ... erview.htm

The only retail Atom board I've been able to find with one is the one linked in the article.. Not much help really.

There are a couple of links in the XBMC thread that relate to using PCI-E or USB options to support the card - might be a viable alternative.

Adobe recently released Flash 10.1 Beta 3...
=> http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

According to their release notes:

Quote:
Hardware video decoding of H.264 content in Flash Player 10.1 is supported on the Broadcom BCM70012 video decoding chipset, found in systems with Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator hardware. Driver support is available at http://www.broadcom.com/support.

Apparently, it works...Sort of.

(Still needs more work. Noticeable choppiness.)

Beta 2 already had acceleration for these cards.

GMA500 support is new, though. Unfortunately most netbooks use GMA950.

edit: As far as YouTube vids go, 1080p seems to be pretty choppy on my netbook as well. The BCM970012 seems to play back 720p pretty well, though.

I mainly got it for playing back h264 anime and TV episodes. Works nice for stuff like this using Media Player Classic. Some of it I could play back before I got the Crystal HD, but it wasn't very smooth and it would peg the CPU near 100%. With the Crystal HD the same files play back perfectly smooth and the CPU chugs along at like 20% load.
