I'm submitting the article and Mike is reviewing it to make sure I don't do something stupid like put the URL for yesterdays news in today's article (which I did today btw).

If you click on the link in my forum post before he releases it to the front page you'll get that message. It just means the article isn't ready for public consumption but it will be shortly.

I was curious about those indestructable drives, so I emailed IoSafe and they said:

*They use Seagate and Hitatchi HDDs
*They only have 2.5" HDDs right now
*They use Intel SSDs
*They don't sell the enclosures by themselves (which is what I really wanted).

If they ever sell just the enclosures, I would get one.

Yeah, they roll the cost of the enclosure + drive + insurance that will pay for $2500 data recovery services into the price. If they sold the enclosure only they wouldn't be able to roll the insurance in with it as you may put a bad drive in there before hand and if they don't sell the drive and insurance they aren't getting profit on nearly as much as just selling you the machined aluminum or titanium.
