Zotac ZBOX HD-ND22: At Last a CULV Nettop

hmmmm CULV at last is obviously welcomed. But I think the way to go would be with ZOTAC CULV mITX rather than a zbox. That way you can put in your own graphics card of choice for games or for the best image quality (vector adaptive deinterlacing FTW!).

I'm half surprised you guys didn't use a SSD to isolate the noise of that fan.

Awesome! I've been waiting for this review (or something similar :p) for a while now.


Looks like a good choice for a small and quiet secondary/internet PC.

Could you guys please try Speedfan on this box? It might allow a quiet idle and acceptable load temperature with the right settings.

No controls available in SpeedFan. I'm actually kind of insulted that you think we didn't try it... :lol:

Disappointing; guess we'll have to hope for a good firmware update.

If Speedfan was mentioned in the article, I missed it.

This CULV version doesn't as yet seem to be available in the UK.

My side interest here is how low the latency is on these things. If it's reasonably low then it could make a useful little audio recorder/mixing machine when paired with a USB interface of choice.
