I read that review of the PSU lat night. It sounds amazing. they tested it as 18 to 26 DB.

I wanted to put that in context of other PSUs they tested. I looked at PSU reviews they did that SPCR also did. they seem to run the gamut where they sometimes report much lower DB and other times much higher. my guess is they have inconsistent measuring procedures.

the most relevant I think is their review of the seasonic x750 which is recent, and by the same reviewer. they measured it as 17-30db

I read that review, too, and I'm excited. The question is when and through what etailers will this become available. I doubt that it will be widely available.

Kind of on a random note, I also want to know if Kingwin plans to add a low-wattage unit to its lineup. Seems like they might be headed there with this 550W 80Plus Platinum unit... Small odds, though.
