Another product trying to capitalize on this niche, that ends up sacrificing too much. Should be fine for POS machine.

I've always wondered about these though: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6856119050
Great price, E-350. Seems to overheat, but some are drilling holes in the case to help keep the fan from going crazy =P. That, and considering the fact that this would best be mounted behind the monitor or tucked away somewhere, then it basically becomes inaudible, no?

I had a jetway mini itx motherboard before. Such a piece of crap I wouldn't buy from them again.

You should ask for a review sample of one of those ZOTAC barebone machines with a tiny footprint of 10x10 cm. It's rather impressive looking.

The poor network performance may be attributable to a bad/broken antenna or connector. Though from the looks of things, that's rather poor layout on their part.

This device would be so much better with SPDIF and HDMI to make it useful in a HTPC environment.

This would make an excellent little box for a pfSense router, especially with the dual NICs. My guess is that it was meant more for such purposes or for thin client setups. The lack of crunching power leads me to believe that media encoding/decoding was not in the intended usage patterns for this system.
