Some more information:
I've been looking into the Celeron 847 version of this -
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?s ... DCCP847DYE - for a VortexBox music server. But I'd like to get a single 3.5" HDD and a full-size optical drive in with it.
I just discovered that Asus has a Celeron 847 based board out, and it appears to be the ONLY one in it's class with USB 3.0 support:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813131948ECS, Gigabyte and Biostqar all have Intel NM70 chipset based boards with USB 2.0. The Gigabyte GA-C847N-D also has eSata.
This class of board is really a step up from Atom and Zacate for the HTPC crowd, although likely overkill for music servers.
Now I just need to find an external brick case for one of these that takes a 3.5" HDD and a full-size optical drive.
