Nice cooler.

Since the fan protrudes over the top of the heatsink, what's the total clearance needed? Is it closer to 170mm?

170mm sounds about right, but you can always move the fan down so it so it's flush with the top.

Nice work. I wonder if we would gain any further insight if this one was tested with the reference 120mm fan?

Thanks for the review, and for the PWM and voltage control FanXpert2 graphs, very interesting that it can dip down lower on voltage control than on PWM, oposite to the fans i have tested, maybe scythe is changing their designs.

This cooler seems very nice, and very similar to noctua NH-U14S, both the fan size and the design overall of the cooler seems comparable.

good to see scythe back in the mix! (now we just need someone to start stocking 'em in the US... )

Supposedly Scythe us was to come alive in august, but looks like it's delayed. I hope by the end of september at least, I like having scythe as an option for cooling anytime I'm making a new build.

Looks like my hopes are confirmed: unlike the half-arsed 140 mm Slip Stream, the 140 mm Glide Stream is a decent fan.
